The ninth TARAS Award was presented at the 11th IRT Industrial Forum to Lek Pharmaceuticals d.d., Development Center Slovenia, and to the research groups of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana.

The expert committee, which evaluated three submitted applications, was impressed by their successful collaboration in the development and implementation of a technically demanding gastrointestinal tract simulator—an “artificial stomach.”
